Let's make life better for children in hospital
Dudley has been a patient at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital since birth. After being born prematurely at the start of COVID, he had complex medical needs that required multiple long hospital stays.
In September 2024, Dudley was diagnosed with a one-in-a-million genetic syndrome. At that time, Lauren was six months pregnant with baby Primrose, and it was discovered that both Primrose and their eldest brother, Stanley, had a 50:50 chance of also having the syndrome.
After a complicated pregnancy, when Primrose was born, genetic testing was carried out in NICU. At just eight days old, she was also diagnosed with the same syndrome.
Dudley is now six and Primrose is one. While they both have complex medical needs, including being tube fed, they are the happiest children.
Thank you to Noah’s Ark—its nurses, play staff, doctors, and everyone involved—for looking after our children and supporting us too.
