Sahara Trek

I’m taking on a Sahara Trek in March 2027 with Noah’s Ark to raise funds for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity in Cardiff.

As many of you know my son Lewis spent nearly seven months as an impatient in Noah’s Ark. During that time I saw firsthand the incredible care, compassion, and dedication shown by the doctors, nurses, and support staff, not just to the children, but to their families too.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity funds vital equipment, specialist facilities and also helps fund support for children and families during what can be the most difficult time of their lives. This includes play specialists, sparkle team, teachers, music therapy, emotional support, and resources that help children cope with treatment and hospital stays, while supporting parents every step of the way.

Why the Sahara? Because it’s meant to be hard. And while no challenge can compare to watching your child spend months in hospital, this is my way of pushing myself for a cause that truly matters.

This trek is my way of giving something back and helping other families facing the same journey.
